This luminous kilim triptych from the Malouf Collection presents the word “Fakhour”—meaning “The Proud One”, not as a statement of ego, but as a celestial map of earned brilliance. It explores the proud momentum that comes from honoring one's journey, a glowing confidence that illuminates the path forward.
The side panels are dedicated to the gathering constellations. Here, motifs of shining stars are arranged in a scattered, nascent pattern symbolizing the early, potent moments of self-awareness and the initial sparks of achievement that begin to define our path.
The middle one presenting the typography word "Fakhour" is rendered in a powerful, classic script, woven in the vibrant heart of a fiery red, this is the moment the internal glow finds its voice and name, burning with concentrated intensity. It represents the radiant confidence that comes from claiming one's journey.
